Fall is here and we have a surprise for you!!!
Living in Ohio can be great. Not only because we get songs written about us (did you know that Ohio is for Lovers?!) but also because we get to experience every season. This sometimes happens all at once, in a week, or even a day, but that’s just something you have to accept in this state. We have Winter around Christmas, Spring around Easter, Summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and Fall for Halloween (and sometimes Thanksgiving, if we’re lucky). Do you guys know what today is?! If you guessed my birthday, you’re wrong. Today is the first day of Fall and I couldn’t be any more excited! I absolutely ADORE the Fall season. The clothes, the smells and flavors, and the scenery! Swooooooooon!
Who doesn’t LOVE cuddling up in a big ol’ sweater and then going to the store in that same big ol’ sweater? Seriously, the Fall style is amazing and kinda sorta makes me want Fall all year ‘round (fallyearround, get it?). The boots, the scarves, the colors, the nail designs, don’t even get me started because I won’t stop!
Have you ever heard of “pumpkin spice”? Of course you have! I’m basic and I know it! Can you even claim to love Fall without being completely obsessed with pumpkin spice EVERYTHING?! This does NOT stop with pumpkin spice lattes, my friend. This spreads to candles, air fresheners, lotion, hummus … Did I go too far? Pumpkin spice isn’t the only Fall smell and flavor that I adore. All things apple spice, cake batter, caramel, and coffee..My favorite time to shop for candles or melting wax is in the Fall and then I use them all year ‘round. I can’t get over all of these warm scents.
Can we talk about the scenery?! The leaves change colors, they fall, the ground is gorgeous. It is seriously THE best time to snap some photos! Pumpkin patches, in the woods, in the backyard, all of it is absolutely breathtaking. I’m professing my love to Fall here but I’m also trying to share my love for Fall with YOU!
