When I first met Sarah and Adam over a year ago, I knew they were going to be such a sweet couple to work with. We decided to take their engagement photos at Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio and we had so much fun together! It’s always so interesting to see how different couples and their personalities “click” when they’re together and it was no exception with Adam and Sarah. They are both incredibly kind and patient people so it was easy to feel relaxed with them from the get-go. I walked away from their engagement session feeling like I made two new besties.. these were my kinda people!! <3
Sarah did such an amazing job with planning from beginning to end. Every little detail was chosen specifically for a reason, which made my photographer heart happy!!!
On Sarah and Adams wedding day, I walked into their church for the first time and was blown away! The foyer area was so spacious and beautiful, and the building itself was huge! We had so much space to spread out and find pretty light for details and getting ready shots! Sarah and Adam’s event coordinator and designer, Caleb, did such an amazing job at decorating the entrance area, alter, and aisle way. They had hundreds of rose petals laid out perfectly down the aisle with the prettiest designs.
One of the most special moments from Sarah and Adams day was their very private first look. They chose to have this moment with just the two of them so they could pray, relax, and decompress from the chaos of a wedding day. It was so sweet seeing Adams reaction to Sarah for the first time.. He was in awe at how beautiful she looked!
The ceremony was also a really special time for these two as they had their current pastor and future pastor take part in marrying them. They were moving out of state after the wedding to start a church with close family friends, so they wanted their future pastor and their home-church pastor to be apart of it. <3 They also had members from the congregation join together for worship songs and a time of prayer during the ceremony, which was amazing and so special for these two.
At the end of the night, I was truly sad to leave these two!! I have gained two close friends and I can’t wait to see the amazing things they do in Wisconsin on their new journey! Love you guys!!!
