Wedding season is in full swing and I’m so excited to be sharing Kaylee and Nate’s GORGEOUS summer wedding! Kaylee and Nate got married at Eaglesticks Golf Course in Zanesville, Ohio. I love this venue for so many reasons, one being that it is literally right down the road from my house! 🙂 Eaglesticks has such a beautiful layout of rolling hills, greenery, and some of the most amazing sunset views. They recently built a new wedding venue, The Oakmont – so I was VERY excited for Kaylee and Nate to experience it!!
When I first met Kaylee, we hit it off right away. She LOVES dogs (maybe as much as I do 😉 so I knew we were going to get along great!!! When she told me about her fiance Nate and how they had been dating for years, I could tell by the tone of her voice how sincere and deep their bond was. She told me about their first date and how he proposed. Ironically, Nate asked Kaylee to marry him at the same Ice Cream shop by the lake that I used to work at! Even more ironic, my aunt used to own it!! I couldn’t believe how crazy and small this world is. Kaylee and I thought it was too funny and super cool that I may have been the one serving ice cream on their many dates and lake-trips to Seneca!
When it came to planning, Kaylee was so incredibly organized. She had everything figured out and organized before we even met – which was a long ways out from her wedding! I love when my brides are detail-oriented and Kaylee was just that! She planned and created so many beautiful details for their big day including decor for the ceremony and reception. One of my favorite parts of their wedding was their hand-written vows to eachother. Kaylee promised Nate she wouldn’t bring home any dogs without at least SUGGESTING it to him first (A girl after my own heart!!!) It was so adorable and so reflective of their relationship together.
At the end of the day, I felt like I was leaving my best friends wedding. Everything was so incredibly thought-out and beautiful (and I must mention – it was downright fun!!) The bridal party and guests were so friendly and made the day even that much better.

I can’t wait to take anniversary pictures for them years from now and include all 16 dogs I know they will have by then!! haha!! Thank you guys for allowing me to be apart of your day.
