I am so excited to share Hannah and Jeff’s Wedding day with you all! I met Hannah and Jeff through my amazing photographer friend Kate, who is Jeff’s sister! She referred them to me since she would be very involved in the wedding and wanted someone she could trust to capture every moment of their day. What a HUGE compliment to me – she’s truly the best! A few months after meeting over coffee, I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session at Scioto Grove Park in Columbus. I knew the minute they started cracking jokes from the Office.. we were going to get along just fine!! 😉
These two had such an incredible engagement session and the wedding day was no different! Hannah and Jeff wanted their wedding to be fun, relaxing, and stress-free.. and it was all of those things! Mike and I traveled up to Cleveland the morning of the wedding and met with Hannah and Jeff at the Hilton in Downtown Cleveland where they were each getting ready. Within the first five minutes of walking into the bridal suite, I knew it was going to be a really good day! Hannah and Jeff’s Moms were SO sweet and they had only a few very close friends with them while getting ready. I love how calm and laid back everyone was!
After their first look, we ventured around the area in Downtown Cleveland for a few portraits! It was so cool getting to take a few shots in front of the Cleveland Browns Stadium, overlooking the water, and also a few with the city skyline in the background! After a few portraits, we drove to the ceremony venue, Squire’s Castle in Willoughby, Ohio. The castle was SO beautiful and simple. It was the perfect setting for a small and intimate ceremony with just a few close friends and family members. Jeff’s sister Kate and one of Hannah’s dear friends, Erin spoke at the wedding – and they had Nathan, Hannah’s Brother officiating! 🙂 I love that these two incorporated the most special people in their lives into their wedding day – it made every aspect incredibly personal and beautiful!
Throughout the day, I understood more and more why these two are absolutely perfect for eachother. They are both so kind, fun, hardworking and laid back! The day flowed effortlessly. Both Hannah and Jeff went with the flow and didn’t have a worry – they just wanted to be MARRIED! The change of pace in the heart of my busy wedding season was such a refresher and I’m grateful that these two allowed me to be a part of it! I won’t forget how beautiful and intimate this wedding day was! I hope these photos appropriately tell the story of these two and how much they mean to each other. Enjoy!!
