When I met with Gina + Tyler for the first time, we clicked immediately! They both had such a great sense of humor with a laid back personality. I knew right away these two were going to be a ‘dream couple’ to work with. From the start they 100% trusted me to create beautiful images that reflected their unique personalities.
As a photographer going into an engagement session with a couple, you never know what to expect. Some couples have a lot of experience in front of the camera and some need extra time to warm up. It wasn’t 2 or 3 minutes into our engagement session at Scioto Audubon Metro park that I knew these two were going to be EASY to photograph. Not only are they hilarious, they have the best chemistry!
There was one location that I had in mind for their engagement session, but wasn’t exactly sure what the place was called. I had seen it in other photographers photos and loved the modern vibe from it, but had NO idea if it was a patio bar or something else! I mentioned the description of it and without skipping a beat these two knew EXACTLY what I was talking about! From that, to bonding over the fact that we all three have light colored eyes that are sensitive to sunlight (the struggle is so real!), I felt like these two were old friends from the get-go. We could talk about any topic and the conversation just flowed.
When it came to shooting Gina and Tyler’s Wedding at the Bluestone in Columbus, I knew it was going to be amazing. These two had family coming from all over Ohio to make this day possible! From the amazing details Gina planned, to the sweetest first look.. I left the Bluestone with my photographer heart completely filled! Every single member of the bridal party and all of their family members were so kind, lighthearted, and plain FUN to be around.
One of my favorite parts of the day was all the beautiful details. I absolutely loved their Modern Blue invitation suite with the Columbus Skyline! Gina chose cream and maroon florals with overflowing greenery by Madison House Designs that matched perfectly with Tylers Blue Tux! I’ll also add that her ring is absolutely stunning, which makes photographing it even more fun! 🙂
At the end of the reception, I struggled to leave these two! I could have hungout with them and their family/friends all night! Congratulations, Gina + Tyler! I am so grateful to call you guys not only clients, but friends. Thank you for allowing me to capture your perfect Day!
