2016 has been the craziest of years! It included lots of growth for me, both personal and business related. Overall, I had the opportunity to serve so many of you – and for that I am incredibly grateful! I met some of the coolest people in 2016. I witnessed many of you celebrate the best day of your life while you marry your other half, and spent my evenings capturing seniors laughing in front of my lens. I photographed sweet families, new babies, and a few things in-between (PUPPIES!!!).
If anything, this year has taught me to take time to breathe and soak in the little moments. My one word for 2016 was grace after all. I gave myself a lot of that. In 2016 I learned to say no to things that didn’t make me feel good about myself or my business. I realized that I’m not for everyone and that is OK!!! I turned down work for the first time in my business because money isn’t worth sacrificing special moments with my family. I outsourced some work that I don’t excel at and learned that delegating doesn’t make you less, but helps you exceed in your strong areas.
I am the luckiest for having the opportunity to serve so many while doing the thing I love most! To all of you who supported me and my business this year, (friends, family, clients) I am so thankful for you and I’m excited to see what 2017 looks like for Paige Hough Photography…
